This article features the barn of a horse breeder from South Carolina. This barn, at Ketchen Place Farm, was designed by architect Blackburn Architects of Washington, D.C., and built by Advanced Equine Construction of Corbin, Kentucky. The stalls are designed and built by Lucas Equine Equipment.

This special section features the Miller Barn, owned by Judy and John Paul Miller in Lexington, Kentucky. This extremely functional barn and horse stalls were built using reclaimed hardwood from a previous barn on the property. The barn was built by Downey Construction of Lexington, Kentucky. The stalls were designed and built by Lucas Equine Equipment.
