The hands-on owners of a private farm in Virginia create a barn that showcases function and elegance.
Ed and Sarah Eck, the owners of this beautiful private barn in Virginia, really did their research before coming to Lucas Equine Equipment to design their custom horse stalls. They wanted a simple and functional design that still had tons of class and elegance. You can see the clean lines and rich tones echoed throughout the entire facility.
You can see those same design philosophies in the entire look of their new barn, both inside and out. The barn was constructed by Monument Construction and designed by Irby Architects.
Specs on the Lucas Equine stalls:
Seven custom horse stalls, plus an office, feed/tack room and other functional spaces
Stalls featured a low open front to give the horses plenty of space to look into the aisleway
Feed doors give the owners access during feed time
Built-in spring-bolt latches give the doors a seamless look
Black super-durable powder coated finish and gorgeous tongue-and-groove yellow pine give the stalls a rich look
Stall partitions feature a privacy divider near the feeding area of the stalls
Exterior dutch doors lead to the paddocks from each stall
Large end aisle doors allow loads of natural light into the aisleway
