 Private Barn in Apex, NC

Every great barn begins with a vision. For the owners of this stunning equestrian facility, that vision was to create a space that combined the warmth and character of a traditional horse barn with the comfort, functionality, and craftsmanship expected in a modern equestrian property.

Working alongside Frazier Home Design, LLC, the owners developed a plan centered around their horses' well-being while creating an inviting environment for family, guests, and daily barn activities. Once the design was finalized, they partnered with Lucas Equine Equipment to bring the horse spaces to life.

From the beginning, the goal was clear: create stalls that were not only beautiful, but built to perform for decades. Lucas Equine worked closely with the owners and design team to select custom stall fronts and partitions that complemented the barn's architectural style while providing the durability needed for everyday use.

The finished barn features four spacious 16' x 14' stalls, offering generous room for each horse. The striking black stall fronts create a beautiful contrast against the natural wood interior, while the sweeping yoke design adds elegance and openness throughout the barn aisle. Every detail was carefully considered to balance aesthetics, safety, and functionality.

As construction progressed, collaboration remained key. Lucas Equine coordinated with the project team to ensure the custom stall package integrated seamlessly with the owner's vision and the overall design of the facility. The result is a barn that feels timeless, welcoming, and exceptionally well-crafted.

Today, the completed facility stands as a testament to what can be achieved when thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a shared passion for horses come together. From the soaring wood ceilings to the custom stall fronts, every element contributes to a space that is as impressive to look at as it is enjoyable to use.
