Davis Stable Barn Spotlight
Lucas Equine Equipment is very lucky to be a part of this amazing story of a family owned farm in Kentucky that shows how important family is and the role a horse can take in creating that bond. This is what Mike Davis had to say about his barn project experience with LEE:
"My wife Kathy and I have had Rocky Mountain and Tennessee Walking horses for 15 years. We trail ride and they have become a part of our family. Our three adult children grew up camping and riding with us and today we own a horse campground with my brother in Mammoth Cave Kentucky. We love taking care of our horses as much as we love to ride and our new barn has made that job so much more enjoyable."
"We wanted a relatively small barn but with a high end finish. The building was designed to be just for the horse stables and not for general equipment storage etc... like we had in our previous barns. As we began researching stalls we were immediately drawn to the quality and design we saw in Lucas Equine. The manufacturing was second to none and Mike and his team worked with us to advise us in many areas as we planned out the project. We chose the European, open stall design, and also had Lucas build our exterior doors and windows. In previous barns we have built we had nothing but trouble with doors and windows but the Lucas products have met or exceeded our expectations in every way."
"Mike Ravenscraft also took the time with us to guide us on many other areas of the barn including stall flooring, aisle way flooring, lighting, architect services, builders, etc... He took the time to work with us not because it grew his project but just because he was helping a customer.
