ROOTED ON THE RIVER RANCH

Straddling the Greybull River in the fertile bottomlands outside of Meeteetse, Wyoming lies the Rooted on The River Ranch. Easily one of the most well-executed and substantially appointed equestrian centers and ranch on the Wyoming market today, a wonderful mix of western romance and recreation. Consisting of 952± deeded acres, comprised of three separate but contiguous parcels, A State-of-the-art equestrian facility with 17 custom stall fronts, a breeding station, pharmacy room, automatic feeders, heat and water. The ranch also exhibits solid cattle working facilities, including a certified scale, hydraulic chute and working corrals.

Lucas Equine & Rooted on the River Ranch started working together back in 2017. Kim Pezzeminti, owner, and our design team worked tirelessly to design the perfect stall front design that functions well for not only the trainers and handlers but, also the horse. Our team stepped up to the plate to create a one of a kind stall front design that featured a 100" tall stall front to accommodate a Stable Grazer Slow Feeder all while maintaining that timeless look.

We also incorporated recycled composite 2x6 tongue & groove boards by Tangent Materials in the stall fronts, partitions, dutch doors and barn walls. What does this mean? Zero maintenance and no staining making the install and upkeep a breeze.

A BIG & BOLD TEXAS PROJECT

When we think of Texas, we think BIG! Well, this particular client wanted to create a one of a kind stall front that no one else in the world has. We simply answered, "No Problem!". After several weeks and rounds of detailed drawings the clients approved the shop drawings and our craftsmen went to work creating what would soon be an impressive row of 8 Stall Fronts.

This stall front is designed with massive steel structures including steel posts, steel headers and our flat track rollers. The owners also added brass finials and brass tie rings to create the perfect accents for the barn. You will also notice our crosshatch in the bottom of the stall door. This is a subtle, yet great reminder that ventilation is key when it comes to designing your stall front in areas of the country where heat and humidity are a concern.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to our design team to learn more about healthy stable designs that are functional.

LUCAS EQUINE PROCESS

To start the process an email or phone call is typically initiated and your inquiry is assigned to one of our Sales & Design Experts. We strive to respond within 24 hours of an email sent or you will be greeted with a receptionist upon calling our office. We rarely leave the phone unanswered during normal business hours and you should expect to speak with one of our experts immediately.
Consult
We try to ask general questions during the first phone call:
  • How many stalls?
  • What type of horses do you own?
  • What does your budget look like?
  • Do you have a design picked out from our photo gallery?
Design
If all criteria checks out and LEE is a good fit for you, the design process will start. This is where our design team will help customize the hardware to your exact specifications. Once we narrow down a design we will move to quoting the project.
Quoting
During the quoting process, this is the time to narrow down the design to keep the scope of work within your budget. Our team will always do our best to help you save money where we can. It is important to know that our team will not cut corners on materials or quality to reduce price. We provide superior designs and products with the best craftsmanship in the world to reach the high standard set many years ago.
Build
Before we can release shop drawings this is the point where your Design Expert will request a signed proposal and 25% deposit. The remaining balance will be requested either COD or prior to shipping. We will provide full detailed shop drawing for review and approval with as many revisions as need to ensure LEE is building to the proper design and size. After approval we will start building your hardware. Be sure to ask your Design Expert of current turn-around times.
Install
The install will be performed by a local contractor of your choosing. It is also important to note that your contractor will also be needed to unload the truck when it arrives to the farm. With our shop drawings and the ability to call anytime, your contractor will be in good hands during the install process.

That's It! You now have beautiful Lucas Equine hardware throughout your barn. Your guests and friends will be blown away at the level of quality and elegance your barn has.
